Professional Journey
Kelly Blickenstaff is a speech-language pathologist and the heart behind Little Latch & Lingo. Kelly is a dedicated and highly experienced therapist with a strong clinical background and passion for supporting children and families. As the former Clinical Director at a leading pediatric clinic, Kelly played a pivotal role in developing and running a comprehensive feeding clinic. She is known for her leadership in mentoring and training fellow speech-language pathologists and occupational therapists, particularly in the areas of pediatric feeding and myofunctional therapy.
Kelly has supervised numerous clinical fellows and has taught speech-language pathology students at the collegiate level, sharing her wealth of knowledge and clinical experience. She has received advanced training in a variety of evidence-based approaches, including IAOMT Myofunctional Therapy, Feed the Peds, the Simon Says® , and the CAN-EAT approach. Kelly’s work centers on supporting not only the child but the entire family—helping build routines that foster bonding, communication, and joyful connection at home.
Throughout her career, Kelly has worked in a variety of clinical settings, collaborating with diverse teams and supporting a wide range of clients. However, it was her personal journey—raising children with myofunctional disorders—that sparked her mission to bridge the gap in family-centered care. This led her to open her own private practice, where she is committed to offering comprehensive, compassionate, and individualized support for children with speech, feeding, and myofunctional needs.
Known for her thoughtful, comfortable, and professional approach, Kelly offers in-person therapy to a small, dedicated caseload, ensuring that every family receives truly personalized care.
Whether you’re navigating feeding challenges, oral motor delays, or simply want to feel more confident in your child’s development, Kelly is here to support you—with warmth, skill, and hope.
Beyond the Therapy Room
Outside of her professional life, Kelly is a proud wife and mother to two energetic little ones—Jackson (3) and Ryan (1). She and her husband both run their own businesses and are intentional about creating a life rooted in balance, connection, and purpose. Whether it’s enjoying family outings or simply soaking up the everyday moments at home, Kelly treasures time with her family and understands firsthand the importance of support and community for parents navigating developmental challenges.
